The EASIEST Mining Software OS – How To Use Simple Miner smOS ZEN, ETH, ZEC, BTG

Simple Miner is the easiest and simplest mining software to use on your mining rigs. I have switched from nvOC on all my GPU Mining Rigs that have over 6 cards to smOS. In this video I go over the basics of using smOS and how I quickly and effectively switch between mining ZenCash to Ethereum to Bitcoin Gold, to Hush, and any other GPU mineable coin such as Zcash.

Would you need a keyboard and screen for your rigs with smos or you just manage them with another computer?

Hey Buddy, Just started tonight and a bit concerned about the miner programs default settings. Does this look ok to you? -wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp:// -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -asm 1 -mport

It looks nothing like what you have for claymore-eth-v10.6. Give tails a a hug from me

Who can afford to start out with 6 cards off the bat.A lot of us add them when we can afford them.Simpleminer is going to be gone before I get six cards on a rig.

    Hi Vosk,
Do you know if it's possible to mine with a stratum proxy on the smOS? If it so, do you have any tutorials on that?

  20. Hello guys again 🙂

Some another security advice worth to read !

Recently more and more botnets are sniffing for claymore API port forwarded on routers in whole internet.

Even when claymore api port is in read-only state it seems that bots
still can change mining pool and wallet if port for API(ethman) is
    forwarded outside.

If you are using claymore miners then i advice to replace -mport -3333 by -mport

If you dont have -mport specified in your config then i advice to add this as without it – it will act like -mport -3333 by default !

This way claymore API will be available only at localhost (for stats
reading that are sent to dashboard) and not on your LAN IP address.

I changed all default configs to that setting so if you are not sure just look at those examples.

Also please remember not to forward 22 port. If you forward 22 port then botnets will find you in mater of hours i guess.

    Here are some articles:

  21. BEWARE of Phishing websites

Warning phishing website with the .ORG at the end !!!

    Hello guys.

More and more bad people are trying to get hands on simplemining users !
Please remember that ONLY TRUE website is simplemining.NET (NET at the end)

There is a phishing website named simplemining.ORG which is NOT ours !!

We just found that out and i managed to block this imposter website for a moment.

I also reported this phishing website to few authorities.

If you used this website with .ORG at the end then your password and account is in danger !

If you logged in on this website please change your password on original website: and write about that fact to (we will need to log out all devices from your account)

This website was a proxy which accually forwarded all requests to our domain but the phidhing website was getting passwords
of users which logged on this .ORG website.

Please always be aware that real website is simplemining.NET at the end !

I like your videos but you go so fast and just expect the people who are watching this to just know what every thing is. Do you have for beginners videos? I am building rigs and just using NiceHash as I am a beginner but as I stated, you just go too fast without some more in depth explanation of what you are doing.

hey Vosk, Thanks for the awesome video. I have been enjoying them and helped me a lot in my rigs. I am listening to you and switching to SMOS I am running Rx580 on nice hash now. at the SMOS config i copied your settings ""-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp:// -ewal 0x3dab55Ae4432310db9eb0042bdb86d375f930336/z270pd3 -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -asm 1 -mport -3333 -asm 1""
I am getting an error on the miner that " NO POOL SPECIFIED SPECIFY AT LEAST ONE VALID POOL IN " E-POOL PARAMETET
I tried reloading the miner few times still getting the same error. any suggestions?

As a new user to SMOS I was a bit shocked at all the warnings I got upon logging in…Is there a video that helps you setup the mining rig to avoid any possible issues that the warnings described…?? The Claymore hack warnings was a bit troubling but I guess I did not understand the settings needed to avoid a possible loss of funds…

all these Youtube videos only covers how to set up USB which is the easy part but we wanna know step by step instructions how to setup the wallet and the pools and how do we get paid? Or can we just mine with the default? SimpleMining OS is not that easy compared to NH or Minergate.

I am running a bunch of RX 580 8gb. I also have a 5 ton AC unit in a 10×10 room for cooling. But all my cards are running between 75C and 80C temps. Is this too high or should I start playing with power settings?

whatever gpu is gpu0 it runs cold and hits only 560-580 sol's while every other card is 750+sols, if i messed up in my post im sorry im losing it LOL.

Hey,man.I wanted to ask you if you've had any problems with simplemining compared to windows when it comes to power consumption.I have a rx 580 8gb rig and when I wanted to jump to simplemining from windows,my power consumption went up with 100-150 watts (6 cards rig).I played around with the settings and the clocks a lot,but no matter what I do,the difference is atleast 100 watts compared to windows.Do you have any suggestions, that might help me ? Have you experienced similar problems ? Thanks! Keep it up with the videos !
